Camp Activities

At Brown Ledge, we work hard at fun and laughter! But for us, fun brings far more lasting pleasure when it is accompanied by a true sense of accomplishment. With that in mind, our counselors teach only one activity, and are chosen for their ability to teach that activity. To help them, we strive to provide excellent equipment and  facilities. Most important,  we let you decide your own program. Our activities run throughout each day, and you may attend  the activities you want, when you want,  for as long as you want. We have no scheduling or sign-ups. You may just go, anytime mornings and afternoons. When you arrive, the counselors will work closely with you at your pace of learning and skill level, whether beginner or accomplished performer. To provide direction, we have developed three levels of competency in each activity which you may work toward. Some campers enjoy the structure these competencies provide, others prefer to work outside them. In any case, you determine your own goals and challenges. If you want help with any of this, just ask, the counselors will be glad to assist you.
